The Author

Kyle Cunniff

Kyle Cunniff builds things. He’s spent more than twenty years as an industrial designer and artist — designing products for manufacturers, building out camper vans, and now writing fiction. He and his partner are also putting up a sculpture garden at the edge of the Great Sand Dunes in Mosca, Colorado, and when they’re not there, they’re somewhere down a dirt road in their van.

His short fiction comes from the same place: restless stories about people at the odd edges of the world — things that shouldn’t quite work, but do. He writes from Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where he lives with his partner and their two children.
